Even though this blog is mainly about my book I will continue to relay events in my life. I am on the Union High School Soccer Team. I am number 34. I have had fun and have learned a lot and even though I am not the best player on the team I am glad to be able to participate on the team. We have so far played eight games. Union at Morgan, we won Varsity 4-2 and JV 2-2. Then Carbon at Union, we won Varsity 8-0 and JV 4-1? Then Union at Delta we lost Varsity 3-1 and JV 3-0 but Union at N. Sanpete we won Varsity 8-0 and JV 4-1. I am on the JV Team.

Update
Okay, so we got a new computer and either it's having a hard time doing what I want it to do or the blog thing is being stupid because it won't let me post any pictures... so this is what you get.
So the book is coming along... I am going over it again and fixing up some new things and some mistakes... changing names is the hardest to do because you can't miss one or it will throw everything off especially when you have the book completed and you realize that the name you have isn't working... also when you don't like most of the scenes you've written and want to edit most if not all of them and you have to go very slowly and figure out what you want to do. Especially when you try to read it out loud to see how it sounds and your family doesn't like it... well, I'm grateful for what they say and all... it's just frustrating when my goal is so close to being passed by me... well my first goal anyways.
So far I have 336 pages and I am still going. I just hope that I can get it all worked out soon and that I can finally turn to my other book. Yet I won't turn to my other book until I have officially finished this one.
I need boy names... There are four main characters, Sendra, Mitch, Tyrone, and Bracken... I need to change either Sendra or Bracken but I like both names where they are. So I'm trying to find a name that appeals to me more than Bracken but so far none have. If anybody has any ideas it will be greatly appreciated but a note of caution... if I don't use the name I don't want people feeling bad... I try to fit names according to their parts.
Writing a book is so complicated and stressful... especially when during the summer you have both parents working so you get stuck with the job of babysitting kids who are so difficult to watch when trying to focus on a book and them when they hardly listen to you anyways. I think I know how some moms feel and I feel bad for them. Sorry... you have my pity.
However, despite having troubles... it has been a great experience to babysit my... siblings... the little darlings. Sometimes, surprisingly, they can be a help to my book... like a listener or giving their point of view and what they think or personalities of... certain characters.
I haven't really kept this blog up very well but hope to end that as I change it's status to my book instead of me. I guess it should be plural... my books. I hope I don't bore you to death with them... they intrigue me.
To my listeners, thanks for listening to my book, it helps for me to understand what mistakes I make and different possibilities and points of view.
I hope to keep this blog about my writing dream better updated than when I did before. Thanks to those who help.

I had to get a picture of Katelin when she was asleep!!!
Haha there's my friend Joshua Price who is posing for the camera... it was hilarious.
Haha I kept trying to get a picture of my fellow flutist, Kinley Mccook don't think I spelled it right, but anyways, this was one I almost had!!! I did get her but thought I'd show you this mess up.
Haha I was trying to get pictures of random people and would scare some!
This is Kamila Olsen!!! I like her too, she is a good person. It was fun to have her on the trip!!! I think the one behind her is Jessica Ivy or something... I'm not for certain I'm really bad with names!!! Sorry.
Here is some of my stuff and all. My souvenier's I think I spelled that wrong... sorry
Katelin got a necklace and I wanted a picture with it on her.
This was on the ferris wheel and I thought it was pretty good of a moto.
This is our band director, Mr. Forsyth. I found this picture very amusing I hope you find it as funny as I did.
I got a picture of Forsyth in line for a ride and some of the people he was with. There's Eddie Krismouskie I know I spelled that wrong I'm so sorry, and Gideon Hatch (I have no idea if I've been spelling his name wrong but if I have I apologize.

Here is a good picture of the big buildings in the city... well from where we were at. Yeah this is while waiting in line for a roller coaster. There was also a train that was e ........ x........... t ......... r........... e............. m........ e........... l.......... y........ l................o.............n...........g.......!!! It was ridiculous!!! But kinda cool to see.
We got bored waiting in line and kinda just took pictures. There is Katelin and Amee... by the way besides being bored we are all really happy!!! We may look like we've been crying but trust me we weren't it was simply the wait in the line!!! I loved Katelin's face in this picture... you had to be there to see it in full details but too bad for all you out there I got to see it HAHAHAHAHA!!! Just kidding!
I loved Katelin's smile in this picture... another had-to-be-there- moment!!!
Katelin was kidding of course but kinda nice to see someone's eyes that look totally ligit and really funny in that kind of a situation and still get away with it!!! It was awesome!!! I just wish that I could do that cuz then I would freak you all out. (BY the way that is not how you spell because!!! I just did it to see what'd you say!!!)
We did a spur-of-the-moment picture and I loved Katelin's pose!!!

This is Amee Essex excited to go on the White Roller Coaster!!!
A ride we rode called Dragon Wing. It was a good one.
We had a lunch break and I took some pictures of some fellow flutists!!! This is Shayleye sorry if I spelled it wrong.
Again at lunch this is Kira Carmichael.
This is Kinley McCook Sorry is I spelled anything wrong.
Ok so what happened is Friday morning we went to the Denver Mint and I knew that we couldn't have camera's there and I thought that we were going to the Mint then back to the hotel to be there for a while before we went to the Aquarium so I left my camera and my phone back at the hotel. Big mistake because we went straight from the Mint to the Aquarium and I had no camera, so I didn't get any pictures of the Aquarium!!! It was sad. Anyways, Saturday morning we were on the bus by 6:00 to go to Elitch Gardens for the competition. I got some pictures of people in their "early morning" faces!!! This is Kamila Olsen. Sorry if I spelled it wrong.
Each person roomed with their "buddy" and two other people. This was Skylee Memmot's, China Limon's, Amee Essex's and my room. It was kinda small but it was a really good room and I would go there any time. The swimming pool was kinda small but we made some good memories in the pool even though some of them were a little awkward... yeah!
THis was my "buddy" She also is my good friend. I was really glad to see her again. We had some good laughs as well and some good times when she embarrassed herself. The book store, the city walkin through, even the garbage can!!! Haha Good inside jokes right there!!! You would've had to be there!!! It was nice to see my good friend Amee again.
This was another one of my "roomies" China Limon. She is also a good friend and we had some good times with her again. Ha Ha Truth or Dare!!! Good memories there as well. I had fun and it was a pleasure to room with the three people I did.
Here is another picture of the other roomies sorry I didn't get a very good picture of the third one, Skylee Memmot. You can kinda see her but yeah we had some good times with her too. What happened in that room will stay in that room and no we didn't do anything illegal!!! haha just kidding. It was a pleasure to be with those three.
Again this is still on the way there and this is part of the tunnel that we went through it was pretty awesome! Sorry the windshield had all these bugs and stuff on it so the picture won't be that great!
This is on the way there and I was getting a picture of the back again but the kid that is giving you the Peace sign is Wyatt Perry. He jumped into the picture!!! Ha Ha he's real funny. The other one that you can kinda see with his face is Gideon Hatch.
This is Mike Hamblin again and I caught him making a heart at someone and I found it very amusing to watch him and his heart. I just felt compelled to take the picture if you know what I mean.
This is the same as the last picture except he did a motion of the heart breaking so here is the other half of his heart. I as well found it funny that a guy was making a heart to someone. Its not that it is weird or not right I just thought it was cool that he'd do something like that and if any of you guys do it then you're awesome! Just like this kid!!!
Kay so each of us had a partner that we were supposed to sit with on the bus and remain with the duration of the trip. My partner is Amee Essex who had recently moved to Denver so she wouldn't be on the bus with us there or back but would meet up with us in Denver Friday morning. SO I paired up with another friend who happened to not have a partner as well because the person couldn't go. So I sat with Katelin Stewart. She is really funny and very expressive she is a good friend.
Denver Trip!!!
This is on the bus trip over to Denver. It was very long. We left for Denver around 8:00 a.m. on a nice tour bus. I will try to name the main people trying to be located in the picture and then explain the picture the best I can. Here I was mainly just trying to get pictures of people in front of me but the kid that looked back, his name is Mike Hamblin.
These are the two people in front of us, (Us meaning my partner and I) The one on the right is Edwin Butterfield. The one on the left is Kyle Niebergall. Sorry if I spelled any wrong.
In this picture I was just taking a picture of the back of the bus. The closest one that looked up is Kira Carmichael. Again sorry if I spelled anything wrong.
This is a closer up picture of Edwin Butterfield who has recently returned off of his mission from Brazil. He was a great chaperone and it was a privelage to have him on the band trip. Sorry if I spelled anything wrong I'm still extremely tired from the trip! :)
Again I was taking a picture of the front of the bus, but that is Edwin talking to Mr. Forsyth.

Really Sad News- A Sad Day
Our beloved friend, even Shania Young moved to Monroe over the Christmas break. In case any of you are wondering, Monroe is about 20 minutes past Richfield which is about 2 hours past Salt Lake. She will be missed and we will always remember her and what she did for us. She gave us a life when we had none, and she gave us happiness and joy. She brought joy to our souls like no else ever had in a friendship, she was there for us when we needed her. She was always prepared to make us smile and with the wise wisdom of a wonderful mind. She was the thrill of those hard days when we were down.
You rarely ever saw her not smiling. She always rubbed off on us and we always had a better day when she was around. She was the one to reach down and help us up when we fell down, she was the one to stand next to us in hard trials, she was the one that taught us how to get back up when in hard times.
Whenever we were on our knees, crying or stressing, she would be the one to come kneel next to us and comfort us before helping us back up. If we were being picked on, she would be the one to stand up and face the enemy to have them stop. If we were hurt, she would be the first one to the hospital with cheer and a get well card.
No one could ever replace a friend like that. Especially to me. Shania came to me in the third grade and we had been friends ever since. I have never regretted meeting Shania and I will never forget her. You can be just like Shania in the helping up ways and being there and all, but no one could ever replace her. She was more then just a friend, she was like a sister to all of us.
Even though she is gone, we will still keep her close and always remember her, her laugh, her smile, her very personality and the sense of wanting to be around her always radiating off of her will always remain in our hearts.
Shania Young was like the older sister I never had. She was like the friend I never had and in some ways, she was like the teacher I never had. She was always the one I turned to when I had a problem. Of course my parents were most often the first choice but if I for some reason didn't feel comfortable with talking to my parents I always went to her next.
Never did I go to any other friend before I went to Shania. She always had the correct words to make you feel better. I hope I can be like her to other people, to have such a great effect on people is what I want to do for others like she did to me. I want people to look up to me the way I looked up to her and still look up to her. I want to make people smile the way she made me smile all the time.
I want to be able to have a friend like Shania again and I'm sure I will, but again, no one I repeat NO ONE could ever replace her.
Shania Young is one of the funniest people I know. She always did something random or funny that it was hard to be sad or mad around her. It was almost impossible to even think about something sad when you were around her. She was always the one to make us feel lots better. She was the brave one, the noble, the gallant one. She was the the one to truly match the words of Be Strong and of Good Courage. It seemed she was never afraid to do what she wanted or what was right. She was one of the greatest examples in my life. She is my master, my teacher, my sister, my friend and almost quite literally, part of my life. When she left, I believe that a part of me went with her no matter how small a part of me will always be with her as a part of her will always be with me.
The other person in this picture is Hailee, I think that Hailee was the next closest friend I've had. She is still here to help me with this trouble and hard time of Shania's move. Hailee, Shania and I did almost everything together. We were the one's to get together the most often. No matter where we were or what is was we were doing, we always included one another and we never misjudged one another and most importantly, we always had fun. We had our own political opinions and we found a way to work things out without any fights or arguments and we were able to control our feelings better around Shania. I can't speak for Hailee, but I can for myself. She made such a great impact on my life that it is hard to accept that she really is gone.
I fear for the day when it will hit the rest of the way that she is gone and that nothing will ever be the same again. No more seeing her at school or in town. None of that.
Though those memories will always be with us, it will help us when we are in the dark alone, they will guide us through the maze of confusion to the light of day. Her very spirit is like the lamp of truth that guides us through those mazes and roads full of different turns that could each lead to disaster. She leads us to the right road and past troublesome times.
So here is good bye to our friend, our sister, even the remarkable, Shania Young.

Okay funny story, I received the green one from the Advanced Band Christmas Party! It was cool, the blue one is from my brother Salem. I will tell you the story when I talk about the dog and stuff but yeah.
Okay, so we did a white- elephant gift exchange, and well, it was kind of like musical chairs, whoever wanted a certain gift the most, that gift was taken out and then we would start, when the music stopped if you didn't have a gift you chose one and left. Well, I figured that I wouldn't get to the eleventh one left but I did but let me tell you what really happened. Okay, so the last four people I believe was Madison, Gideon, Seth and I and as we were passing, the music stopped, Gideon and Madison all had one and Seth and I partially had the last one, of course we begin fighting over it and yeah you all should know me, I can be aggressive so when Seth finally gave up, we moved to the final three, Madison, Gideon and I... Similar to the last time with Seth, the music stopped and Madison had a present while Gideon and I partially had the last one. Of course, we both fight over it, and I will admit, I probably should have given it to him but Seth had almost won and I had gotten this far so I was going to finish it so I wasn't going to give up. Anyways, when Gideon gave up, Madison and I began to pass it back and forth. Similar to the times with Gideon and Seth, I was about to give it to Madison when the music stopped so I pulled the present back! I had won! I received the cow bank and the green frisby (I don't think I spelled it right) and the big dog!!! It was awesomely awesome! I didn't see what Seth got yet Gideon got a sausage and Madison got toilet paper and a Hershey's bar!! Sweet!! Sorry you four!
